Lucas Meirelles, PhD, is an Investigator at Massachusetts General Hospital, an associate member of the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, and a member of the Center for Integrated Solutions for Infectious Diseases.
Dr. Meirelles joined MGH in 2026 after completing postdoctoral training at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Switzerland. He earned his PhD from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), where he trained in the Division of Biology and Biological Engineering. He received his MS in Biochemistry and Microbiology and his BS in Biological Sciences from São Paulo State University (UNESP) in Brazil.
